Lovely. I've wanted to learn how to watercolor for some time, but get so frustrated whenever I try. What's been your best learning point? Just practicing?
You know, I see some rippling in your paper (in other photos)...you might want to check out Aquarius paper. It's a combination of synthetic and organic substances and the result of that is the paper does not buckle and you don't need to stretch it beforehand. The only bad thing is sometimes the color application is a tiny bit fuzzy...so if you like nice clear splotches, you might not totally like it.
